And of course—her unexpected favourite from Co Chocolat might surprise you.
Q AND A :
1. How and when did you first hear about Co Chocolat?
It was through word of mouth. I was immediately captivated by the owner, Iman Suguitan’s story; it wasn’t just about making a product, it was about a profound sense of purpose. I truly valued her dedication and the sincerity behind her intention to create healthy chocolate, not only for her mother’s sake, but for the community at large. She has big dreams to bring genuine benefit to society, and that drive to carry a positive impact is something I find incredibly inspiring.
2. How would you describe your work, vocation, or passion, and what do you
find most fulfilling about it?
As an Arabic calligrapher and multidisciplinary designer, I bridge traditional calligraphy with contemporary design disciplines. I find it most fulfilling to help clients express their deepest values by tailoring a unique image and personality for their visions. This elevates calligraphy from a mere craft of beautiful lines to a strategic, purposeful tool for expression, a visual language that everyone can understand and connect with.

3. How have your life experiences and exposure to different cultures shaped
your perspective on the world?
Having lived in three different countries and traveled to several others, I’ve had the privilege of interacting with diverse cultures and mentalities. These experiences taught me that everyone has a story to tell, motivating me to reflect the richness of the cultures I encounter in my design work. I’ve come to see that diversity is not a barrier; rather, it is a factor of richness that strengthens the community and brings us closer together.
4. Do you have any advice for our community, especially for those who are still
exploring their path?
Find your purpose and let it be the compass for your intention. When you anchor yourself in the 'why' behind your work, your path gains clarity, and your determination becomes grounded. Think of your goal as a seed: plant it with sincerity, nurture it with patience, and eventually, you will watch it flourish into something beautiful. Never stop learning, keep growing, and always make sure that whatever you create is designed to give back and benefit your community.
5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most?
Their decadent hot chocolate is my absolute favorite. It is truly unbelievable how they can create such a velvety, rich drink by mixing chocolate with justwater. You don't need to add milk at all because the quality of the cacao is so exceptional. I have deep respect for their transparency and how honest they are about their ingredients. That kind of integrity is rare nowadays.
