Community Feature For May 2026
Finding Joy in the Little Things
This May, we feature Gabriella Race, a Curriculum Coordinator whose world is shaped by children, learning, and meaningful human connection.

From unexpected discoveries during a desert staycation to the everyday joy of watching young minds grow, her story reflects curiosity, cultural understanding, and a deep appreciation for the simple things in life.
And somewhere in between, she shares a detail that might just make you rethink your next chocolate break.
Q AND A
1. How and when did you first hear about Co Chocolat?
I first found Co Chocolat during a staycation at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert during the school closures in April. I remember being so excited to find a dairy free and gluten free chocolate in the minibar that actually tasted amazing!
2. How would you describe your work, vocation, or passion, and what do you find most fulfilling about it?
I’m a Curriculum Coordinator. I love working with children and watching little personalities grow in confidence every day. That joy and curiosity children have is honestly the brightest part of my job.
3. How have your life experiences and exposure to different cultures shaped your perspective on the world?
Working with children and families from so many different cultures has really shaped the way I see the world. Children remind you to slow down, stay curious and find happiness in the little things.
4. Do you have any advice for our community, especially for those who are still exploring their path?
Be kind, work hard and trust that you can do anything you put your mind to.
5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most?
My favourite has to be Power Up because it was the first one I tried at Al Wadi Desert... but honestly, they’re all so lovely. After a busy day at work, it’s so nice to have a indulgent treat that is made here in Dubai!
I also really appreciate how easy the website is for checking ingredients and dietary info.
