Our Community Feature for the month of August

Introducing to you our friend from our Co Chocolat Community, Khaled aka @angelos_coffee
Find out about his chocolate favorites and his passion that have been truly inspirational for us.
We share with him the same values and love for honestly good chocolates while they too want our cacao farmers to prosper. These fun encounters that started with chocolates and food eventually lead to interesting and inspiring conversations. We discovered his passions through these exchanges and with our community growing bigger and more diverse each day, we figured it would just be awesome if we can inspire more people with fun and interesting features about our friends in the Co Chocolat Community.
At Co, we love people with passion and especially when the passion is directed towards coffee - the cousin of cacao. @angelos_coffee is one reason why we know what is brewing using filtration or dripping, what Aeropress is, what the difference is between V60 and Chemex. No, he doesn't own a coffee shop (though he should!) nor does he part-time as barista (although he can!) and he is really great at doing latte arts!
So this August, we are truly delighted to feature one of our community members. And as with all community members we feature, he is not only talented, this man is also kind and a true gentleman. We have seen it in action.

We asked him some questions and here are his insightful responses:
Co Chocolat: How did your passion for coffee started? have you always been curious about it?
Khaled: After my Knee Implant Internal Fixation Removal Surgery. My movement was limited for a while. I have been a Coffee Lover by visiting Speciality Coffee Cafes. I thought about researching to see if I can do it myself and at home. I started Speciality Coffee articles, watch videos on youtube, and started reading books. My biggest inspiration was family, they encouraged me to serve them at home during our gatherings. It's a way to thank my family for the biggest support they provided to me in the year 2016 and I am very thankful to them.
Co Chocolat: If there's one thing people should know about coffee beans and cacao, what should it be?
Khaled: Coffee & Cacao are seeds of fruits, but they are not from the same species. They both contain caffeine and they are both healthy benefits. They both have to be processed after being harvested and treated in different ways to bring the flavors out of them.
Co Chocolat: Lastly, what are your favorite Co Chocolat products?
Khaled: My favorite products are:
- Cocoa Powder to make hot chocolate and mocha with my beverages at home.
- Monster Cookies, go so well with coffee.
- Wide Awake, and In the Mood 65% chocolate bars
