Blog: Community Feature for the Month of January

I was unaware of it, until I saw the brand pop-up store event in SEVA, that was 2020. Took a chance, I decided to try their hot chocolate, I usually have upset stomach after drinking hot chocolate from many brands that I have tried. Surprisingly, it did not upset my stomach, and since then, I've loved the hot chocolate.

     2. How should we describe your work/your vocation/your passion? And what do you find most fulfilling about it?

My dedication lies in helping the voiceless, specifically animals. I dedicate my time to volunteering at an animal shelter, fostering, and offering support to individuals tirelessly caring for all animals in the UAE. The most rewarding aspect is the certainty that I am creating a positive impact, actively contributing to making a difference, and fostering positive changes within the community. The immeasurable joy and sense of purpose derived from assisting those in need, especially our four-legged friends, is truly fulfilling.

     3. How have your life experiences and exposure to different cultures influenced the way you see the world?

Cultural sensitivity and cultivating an open mind through interactions with people from diverse cultural backgrounds have significantly broadened my outlook on life. This exposure has expanded not only my perspective but also enhanced my empathy and understanding of the differences that exist in life.

     4. Any advice for our community specially those whom you feel are exploring

Follow what your heart says. As everyone said, Life is too short, go explore and be brave. Do not be afraid to try new things.

     5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most?

I love the brand itself, because they support local farmer in the Philippines. Fair trade. I also love their Vegan cookies and the 70% hot chocolate. It’s the replacement of my coffee every morning. I wish to try more of their chocolates, eventually more would be veganized.
