This month we shine our spotlight on Mai Al Falasi, the heart of her home.
1. How and when did you first hear about Co Chocolat?
I came across Co Chocolat one time when I was looking for a chocolate making place in UAE that can cater to our love for chocolate.
2. How would you describe your work, vocation, or passion, and what do you find most fulfilling about it?
I am a full time mum first and foremost. I quit my job to take care of my family 12 years ago.. And 6 children later, I don’t regret it one bit.
Motherhood is not easy as I’m sure all mums would agree. It doesn’t come with a manual and you learn more from children than you teach as they grow and reach different milestones in life. It’s the toughest job Ive had but without a doubt, the most rewarding journey I have endured ❤
3. How have your life experiences and exposure to different cultures shaped your perspective on the world?
At a very young age, I was exposed to many cultures and religions and that played a huge role in shaping who I am as a person and unapologetically accepting myself as a Muslim and an Arab woman. This exposure reassured me that no matter where you come from, humanity prevails every time.
4. Do you have any advice for our community, especially for those who are still exploring their path?
Faith, gratitude and integrity. If you work on those three things, you will overcome any obstacle God throws your way. And to always remember that this life is one big test after another.. and the only way to win, is to follow God’s rules above everything else.
5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most?
I love the 65% Classic Dark Hot Chocolate and the Hazelnut Gianduja Spread the most and the fact that they’re made with clean ingredients makes them even more endearing
What do they all have in common? The same values and love for honestly good chocolates while savoring wellness and health may it be physical or mental.
Those fun encounters with our customers that started with chocolates and food eventually led to interesting, and inspiring conversations. We discovered their passions through these exchanges and with our community growing bigger and more diverse each day, we figured it would just be awesome if we can inspire more people with fun and interesting features about our friends in the Co Chocolat Community.
