Blog: Community Feature for the Month of May

While sharing the goodness of Finally, Truly Healthy Chocolates®, our community has grown as clients have become friends.⁠


This month we shine our spotlight to Carolina Fresca, Founder of Grawtitude, probably the most delicious vegan cheese in the UAE. She is committed to mindful eating and is a certified chocolover. We met Francesca just after the pandemic first in Burj Park, then later in a vegan pop-up place and she has been a friend of the brand ever since. She is a cherished member of the Co community.
 

Curious to learn more about Carolina, we asked her a few questions:

1. Where did you first hear about Co Chocolat?

I met the Co Chocolat founders during a farmers’ market back in 2020. Since then, I fell in love with the brand, its purpose, and the people behind it.


2. How should we describe your passion? And what do you find most fulfilling about it?
 
Grawtitude is rooted in my commitment to healthier eating habits and driven by a deep fascination with the impact of food on our lives and the planet. It represents a journey of exploration and experimentation. The most fulfilling part is the opportunity to blend creativity with purpose, creating dairy-free cheeses that taste good but also contribute to a more sustainable and compassionate food system.
  
 
  
3. As an owner of Grawtitude, can you describe to us (to the audience) what is the concept and inspiration behind the brand?
  
In 2016, I pursued a Raw Vegan Chef Certification in Canada, I was not even vegetarian at the time. I found the concept of crafting elegant dishes, staples, and desserts without cooking or utilizing animal-based products incredibly intuitive and creative. This newfound curiosity exposed me to a wealth of information about our food and its profound impact on both our lives and the planet.

Grawtitude emerged from the dedication to embracing healthier eating choices. Recognizing a lack of options for dairy-free cheese, I embarked on a journey of experimentation and recipe development. My goal was to create dairy-free cheeses that rivaled the taste and texture of French and Swiss varieties as closely as possible.
  
4. Any advice for our community specially those who wants to transition into eating healthy products?

Be mindful of your diet. Read, research, remain open to different views, and most importantly, listen to your gut.
 
5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most?

I love every product I have tried from Co Chocolat but my absolute favorite is the traditional mayan drink (hot chocolate).

Co Community Feature of the Month
What do they all have in common? The same values and love for honestly good chocolates while savoring wellness and health may it be physical or mental.

Those fun encounters with our customers that started with chocolates and food eventually led to interesting, and inspiring conversations. We discovered their passions through these exchanges and with our community growing bigger and more diverse each day, we figured it would just be awesome if we can inspire more people with fun and interesting features about our friends in the Co Chocolat Community.
