Blog: Community Feature for the Month of August

This August, we’re shining the spotlight on Sameen— a teacher whose passion goes beyond the classroom. Curious to learn more about Sameen, we asked her a few questions:

1. How and when did you first hear about Co Chocolat?

I discovered your brand while looking for healthy chocolates, and your website immediately caught my attention. The diversity of flavors and the thoughtful craftsmanship behind your creations truly stand out, and I’m eager to learn more about them.

2. How would you describe your work, vocation, or passion, and what do you find most fulfilling about it? 

I am a teacher, and what I find most rewarding is the chance to affect lives in profound ways, both inside and outside the classroom. Each interaction is an opportunity to inspire, to guide, and to leave behind a positive mark that goes far beyond academics.

3. How have your life experiences and exposure to different cultures shaped your perspective on the world? 

Experiences across different cultures have broadened my perspective by showing me how values, traditions, and approaches to life can vary yet remain equally meaningful. This has instilled in me an openness to new ideas, an ability to adapt to changing circumstances, and a deep respect for inclusivity in both personal and professional spaces.

4. Do you have any advice for our community, especially for those who are still exploring their path? 

Visiting the factory and discovering your history was an inspiring experience. The dedication and passion behind your journey are remarkable, and I wish you every success as you continue empowering chocolate farmers and supporting the wider community. My advice would be: don’t rush the process of finding your path. Sometimes the most unexpected experiences teach us the most. Be open to new ideas, connect with others in the community, and most importantly, believe that where you are today is part of where you’re meant to be. 

5. Which Co Chocolat products do you love the most? 

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your products, and I particularly appreciate the seasonal flavors and limited editions, which I eagerly anticipate each time they are introduced.
