LIMITED EDITION: Oooh Bae, My Heart - Ube (Purple Yam) with Black Sesame Praline

Introducing our LIMITED EDITION UBE (PURPLE YAM) CHOCOLATE BARS in two delightful flavors. The star of these chocolate bars is the exotic rootcrop Purple Yam, also known as Ube, pronounced /ooo-beh/. Not only does ube give our white chocolate a beautiful purple hue, but it also offers a range of health benefits being a common Southeast Asian rootcrop used for traditional desserts. Our two new ube flavors both give a rich, creamy wholesome base which while its inclusions will let you in on an adventure of the palate.

"Ooh Bae, My Heart” bar is for the grown-up with a young chocolate heart. The chocoholic will smile as the smooth, creamy mouthfeel of ube-white chocolate melt in the mouth, and then smile some more with the delicate crunch of black sesame praline. Delicate hints of other roasted grains make this flavor quite complex, but surprise, it’s really just black sesame! And our maitre chocolatier’s love poured into this new flavor. 😊

And as always, our chocolates come with health benefits. The purple yam, also known as ube, is a starchy root vegetable rich in carbs, potassium, vitamin C, and phytonutrients, all essential for maintaining good health. It's also a great source of anthocyanins and vitamin C, both powerful antioxidants that can protect against cell damage and cancer. Additionally, the flavonoids in purple yams may help promote blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes. The low glycemic index of purple yams can also help prevent blood sugar spikes.

Black sesame seeds is the other fantastic ingredient in our chocolate. They contain many important trace and macrominerals and healthy fats that may help lower your risk of heart disease.
