FUNDAMENTALS OF CHOCOLATE MAKING – LEVEL 1

Venue: Co Chocolat Factory in Warsan 3. Map Link.
Schedule: Every first and third Thursday evening of the month from 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM.

Understand the farm-to-table chocolate- making process and learn by practice the basics of high quality chocolate-making. Taste the different forms of chocolate and finally make your own. Probably the best part, you get to bring home your own uniquely-created chocolates!

Program Itinerary:

• 45 mins in the factory covering:
• Introduction about the Co Chocolat factory and journey as a business
• Explanation of cacao origins and how quality chocolates come from quality fermented
• Tastings of different forms of chocolate
  
  
• 1 hour and 15 mins covering kitchen work with maitre chocolatier:

• Basic Chocolate Making Ingredients
• Chocolate Base Recipes
• Mise En Place
• Tempering
• Molding of 4 bars of chocolates
• Wrapping
• Q&A

What is included in the Registration Fee:

• Kitchen hygiene materials such as hair net, foot stockings, gloves, on-loan apron.

Duration of the Program:

Up to two (2) hours - This is an express program of approximately 2 hours of demonstration including a Q&A session in the end.
